Perivolos Santorini: The beautiful beach of Perivolos is the longest black beach of the island. It is ideally located in close proximity to Perissa which is a mere 3 km away. This beach of Santorini lies on the southern end of the island, 10 km south of Fira. It distinguishes for its sparkling azure blue waters and tranquil atmosphere. On the beachfront, there are numerous hotels but also restaurants serving fresh fish and local delicacies and bars.
Perivolos is surely one of the most well-organized beaches of Santorini offering a plethora of exciting watersports facilities like scuba diving and jet ski.
Perivolos beach is easily reachable from Perissa. In case you don't have your own vehicle, there are local buses that can take you there. Those who like to walk can also choose the path that passes through the countryside. It is basically a continuation from the beach of Perissa and Agios Georgios.

From Santorini airport to Perivolos: There’s a bus station at the airport located between the arrivals and departures buildings. The buses that depart from there take visitors to the main bus station in Fira village, which is 5 km away. There is a bus from Santorini airport to Fira approximately every hour. From Fira, visitors should take another bus to reach Perivolos, following the route Fira > Perissa.
From Santorini port (Athinios) to Perivolos: The bus station is located on the port of Santorini. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry to Santorini can take a bus to Fira Central bus station, which is 8.5 km away. From Fira, visitors should take another bus to reach Perivolos, following the route Fira > Perissa.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop in every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination, so that he makes a stop there.
