Monolithos Beach Santorini: The beach of Monolithos is close to the beach of Kamari and near the airport of Santorini. It is quite popular among the locals and especially families. It is a long beach with black sand and shallow waters, well-organized at some parts with sunbeds and umbrellas. This beach reveals a pleasant atmosphere, that is why it is often crowded.
There is a football pitch, basketball court and for children a nice play area. There are also trees at the back of the beach for shade seekers.

The buses that depart from there take visitors to the main bus station in Fira village, which is 5 km away. There is a bus from Santorini airport to Fira approximately every hour. From Fira, visitors should take another bus to reach Monolithos, following the route Fira > Monolithos.
From Santorini port (Athinios) to Monolithos: The bus station is located on the port of Santorini. From there, visitors who have arrived by ferry to Santorini can take a bus to Fira Central bus station, which is 8.5 km away. From Fira, visitors should take another bus to reach Monolithos, following the route Fira > Monolithos.
